About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher working in the lab of Prof. Alexander Bertrand at STADIUS, Department of Electrical Engineering, KU Leuven and Prof. Tom Francart at ExpORL, Department of Neurosciences, KU Leuven.

In 2022, I obtained my PhD degree in Electrical Engineering summa cum laude with congratulations from the board of examiners around the topic of signal processing algorithms for EEG-based auditory attention decoding. Since then, I’m working around signal processing algorithm design for attention decoding in natural brain-computer interfaces. Lastly, as a SciComm enthusiast and passionate teacher, I love to deliver workshops and presentations, and to teach.

In 2025, I received the Research Council Award from KU Leuven, encouraging young, promising researchers who have demonstrated high quality in their work.
